Today was definitely one of those days when you feel like you need to dress up a bit to be focused and successful. I always find that if I am not feeling the greatest or an tired, if I put a little more effort into my appearance it makes a huge difference. The statement necklace I added definitely gave this outfit a little less of a casual feel and it definitely makes you feel classy and polished while wearing it! I am thankfully still taking advantage of the warm(ish) weather and trying to not wear a coat as long as possible! Here are some of my favourite statement necklaces! They go with most outfits and are perfect for when you want to add some more focus to your outfit. xo

Homecoming is this weekend so get excited for more posts about the most talked about weekend of the year! I have only been at Queen's University for 6 weeks, and the time is flying by. One thing that I have found to be super important is getting off campus for a bit every week to hang out with friends. Another thing I have found... I have made the greatest friends here. I am so grateful for them on a daily basis. So today, on this chilly Sunday afternoon, we decided to take a break from the studying and our lovely res sun room and adventure downtown. We needed some good food and some time together off campus to clear our heads and get a break from the massive organization that is campus living. We wandered into The Works and had some much needed comfort food. The reason I find this so important is because Queen's can honestly sometimes feel like a bubble. If you tried hard enough you could go weeks without ever taking a step off campus. Its a nice break and is a stress reliever to get away for a bit. We had the best day today with many laughs and a lot of good food. So 10/10 recommending to get out, off campus and explore. You never know what you will find! Check out my Instagram for more details on my outfit! xo
Needed an easy to throw on and comfortable outfit today, but didn't want to look slouchy either. Perfect combination of black skinny jeans and a comfy sweater was the solution. I layered a black longer tank underneath to add more detail to the outfit. I am a huge fan of shades and blacks and whites when it comes to outfits especially in the fall and winter. They look clean and crisp while still being feminine. You can never go wrong with a neutral outfit. Purse: Kate Spade Watch: Marc Jacobs Bracelet: Alex and Ani Necklace: Aldo Accessories Fall's in Kingston I have noticed get pretty chilly. This peacoat from Aritzia is the perfect way to stay warm on the lake. It looks nice and is easy to throw on over anything and everything. My perfect fall/winter coat. Thank goodness it's friday! xo
