I have only been at Queen's University for 6 weeks, and the time is flying by. One thing that I have found to be super important is getting off campus for a bit every week to hang out with friends. Another thing I have found... I have made the greatest friends here. I am so grateful for them on a daily basis. So today, on this chilly Sunday afternoon, we decided to take a break from the studying and our lovely res sun room and adventure downtown. We needed some good food and some time together off campus to clear our heads and get a break from the massive organization that is campus living. We wandered into The Works and had some much needed comfort food. The reason I find this so important is because Queen's can honestly sometimes feel like a bubble. If you tried hard enough you could go weeks without ever taking a step off campus. Its a nice break and is a stress reliever to get away for a bit. We had the best day today with many laughs and a lot of good food. So 10/10 recommending to get out, off campus and explore. You never know what you will find!
